Rajendra Sahu won the first Sandip Mohanty Memorial Open Chess Tournament, which concluded at the Secretariat Recreation Club in Bhubaneswar on today.
Sahu accumulated eight points from nine rounds to win the top prize of Rs 2,500. Krishan Soni finished runner-up with 7.5 points. Guests Damodar Pradhani and Swayangsu Satyakam gave away the prizes.
